To play golf and help children

Michael Führer organizes the QULTUS Charity Trophy for a new children’s camp in Porreres. As of 2011, children from alcoholic parents are cared for in the Finca Esperanza.

Mallorca Magazin: Mr. Führer, how did you come up with the idea of the QULTUS Charity Golf Trophy?

Michael Führer: I have been an entrepreneur for 25 years already, with all ups and downs, at that point it is more than just about material things. I want to build up a large and successful company with QULTUS, which however does not forget the weaknesses right from the start. My work shall also be of social nature. A win-win situation for all!

But why golf?

A golf tournament connects the pleasure with the useful - we can help and play! I’d like for the QULTUS Charity Tournament to become an established part of the affiliated clubs. Three tournaments per month are always taking place. Non-members are very welcome as well!

What is the children’s camp of Faba e.V. about?

The children of alcoholic people are at the very bottom of the social ladder and urgently need our help. They are often lacking the social network and often start to drink themselves. We want to get the children away from their everyday life in Germany and provide them with orientation with the help of qualified counselors.

How long shall the little ones stay on Mallorca?

Usually 14 days. Starting Easter 2011, the groups of approximately 20 - 30 children will learn to deal with the illness of their parents in Porreres. The Grand Opening actually already takes place on 04/10/2011. All networking partner are cordially invited!

How much do the golf players have to spend to participate in the Trophy?

Nothing at all, it is all voluntary! We are however happy if everyone gives at least 10 Euro more than his green fee, then the golf club will also participate with 10 Euro per player. With approximately 25 - 40 participants, the donations already suffice to care for one child in our children’s camp for 14 days.

You provide monetary prices and material prices in the equivalent amount of 50,000 Euros. How do you manage to do that?

The latter is a pleasant side-effect of my company, the QULTUS Premium Guide. 195 chosen companies, whether restaurants, hotels, golf clubs or tax advisors recommend each other, but never the direct competition. For a low cost, the participants receive up to 3.6 million contacts through our printed cards annually, and the links on the website do even more. Not without any reason, almost 120 companies have chosen us. The network (according to the face book principle) will be completed for the opening of the season 2011. From Mallorca, we will expand the system dynamically as a licensing system Europe-wide.
